Health Care Delivery and Payment Rules


ALL PATIENTS
MUST HAVE A TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT PLAN TO RECEIVE IN OFFICE CARE.

Definition: A plan that describes the patient's condition and procedure(s) that will be needed, detailing the treatment to be provided and expected outcome, and expected duration of the treatment prescribed by the physician.

 
Chiropodists are primary health care providers who are regulated by government legislation called the Chiropody act of 1991. Our professions uses the governing body the uphold the legislation by helping regulated members throughout the profession keep the public safe from harm. An example of rules we must follow: Record Keeping, We must have good documentation.

A Management and Treatment plan visit is required. Email the office and request an appointment.  info@rainvillehealth.com

Every visit: We ask you how have you been and enter the information in your chart notes?

Once a year: We need you to review and update any changes to the main contact forms, medical and foot health history, read any changes to our office policy and proceedure. Attest and sign off. This is review yearly and the main document we base the treatment and management plan on.  

New Patients and Returning patients with new conditions must email their request for an appointment. If the email option is not possible calling the office is also an option. However, if you want a faster reply email is the best communication option. Your request will be reviewed and if approved, an intake package link will be sent for completion. Payments Accepted


Only acceptable form of payment are:

  • credit cards
  • debit cards
  • cash
  • payments by a secure payment link

Insurance Coverage


  • Chiropody services are covered under most work benefit insurance plans. The onus is on the patient for being fully informed of the insurance benefits coverage / reimbursement for Chiropody services and products.

  • Our staff can providing the necessary documentation required by insurance provider.

  • The office has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for any requests to alter insurance information documentation in order to get reimbursement of a product or service.

Fee Guide

WHAT IS THIS ALL GOING TO COST?

A complete fee schedule is available in all treatment rooms and at the front desk. We do not post our clinic fees online.

Prices for services are set yearly every April 1st to keep up with inflation listed on Canada's Consumer Price Index.

Fees for Chiropody services are calculated using fee guides set by the associations (Ontario Society of Chiropodist) Fee Guide)

Exact fees for products and services are discussed during treatment and management planning appointment.

Treatment and management plan visits are pre paid to secure appointment and ensure patient's shows for their appointments. No show appointments for confirmed scheduled visits are non-refundable.
