THE OFFICE AND THE PATIENT NEED TO BOOK
A MANAGEMENT PLANNING SESSION WITH A CHIROPODIST.
All new and returning patients are required to have a treatment journey planning session before their in-office treatment appointment. This management plan is the roadmap to get mobile and feel better.
WHY IS THIS STEP REQUIRED?
We understand that this step may seem unusual when comparing with office visits in the traditional health care model. Rainville Foot Health takes informed consent seriously, We believe that patient's must have a good understanding of their presenting condition, the risks and benefits of the treatment options and must have been given the time to ask questions. This can only be done by having a knowledge based conversation where questions are asked by both the provider and patient where information about the subject was being discussed before having any treatment performed. We believe that our model of care gives better results when the patient and health care provider can take 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to communicate and collaborate on their management plan journey together.
Our team will contact you to set up the treatment journey appointment and make arrangements to secure a payment method for the session. A secure payment link will be sent and must be paid 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR MANAGEMENT PLAN APPOINTMENT METHOD:
- A video link or teleconference details will be provided for the consultation portion of the assessment a few days before the appointment.
- A telephone call details will be provided for the consultation portion of the assessment a few days before the appointment.
- In person in office can be scheduled in special circumstances. Having the planning session in office does not guarantee treatment will be performed on the same day.
